Latest betting news and tips from William Hill ahead of a big day of racing on Saturday
THERE'S plenty of money flying around up at Doncaster already report William Hill.
The big race is obviously the St Leger, but there's been some early money for a couple in the Portland too.
Richard Banks from William Hill said: "There is a very popular favourite in BIELSA. He's been backed through the week from as big as 9s and will be 6-1 tomorrow.
"The outsider that has been backed steadily is WENTWORTH FALLS. It opened at 25s and we’ve laid it again today at 16 so will be 14-1 tomorrow. That’s the one that there is momentum behind and has definitely got an ew chance."
Banks continued: "There were a few informed punters playing SHINE SO BRIGHT earlier in the week and with the race having cut up, we were taken advantage of at 5-2, could be a 6-4 shot tomorrow.
"He won’t have it all his own way however as we have seen a few quid for TURJOMANN today as well."
Later on the card comes the big one and Banks said: "We will be evens LOGICIAN but there has been steady money for SIR DRAGONET and it’s still being backed today at 3/1, 11/4. IL PARADISO has suffered and been pushed out to 9/1.”
"Elsewhere on the day, we’ve seen bits of money for one we quite like, PIECE OF HISTORY in the 2.45 at Chelmsford. Initially we pencilled it in at 9/1 but now 15/2 and trying to keep out of the way of that one."
"Over in Ireland, ELARQAM seems to be the one people are backing today for the race against Magical and then in the 5.25, I CAN FLY has seen reasonable money and may be the one to beat Laurens."
